Yuba Expeditions is seeking professional, outgoing, mountain bike enthusiasts to join our team this spring.

Shuttle Driver:

When: May 28 - November 1st
Where: Quincy and Downieville, CA
Pay: Daily Rate $150 - $200 (Depending on Experience)

Looking for a responsible, motivated, and friendly individual to work 8 - 10 hours a day, engage customers, take care of customer needs, and help maintain the Santa Cruz demo fleet. Class C CDL with a Passenger Endorsement is prefered. If you do not have one Yuba Expeditions is willing to pay for your CDL licensing and drivers test.  
Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive a 9 passenger van on mountain roads in various weather conditions
  • Maintain a safe vehicle - complete daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Maintain a clean vehicle - clean inside and out of the van after each shuttle at the end of the day
  • Maintain proper working bike racks by performing daily checks
  • Ensure shuttle reservations are accurate and paid for
  • Load bikes on roof racks and hitch racks
  • Promote SBTS mission statement - help drive membership and volunteer opportunities
  • Help with bike rentals - clean demo bikes when they are returned
  • Help with keeping Yuba Expeditions clean - take out garbage and recycling
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Manager

  • Local trail knowledge

Retail Sales/Rental:

Yuba Expeditions is a face-paced, high-end mountain bike shop. We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of service to our customers. Expect to wear many hats in this job. Successful candidates will be friendly and engaging with a genuine interest in helping people make the most of their Downieville experience.

Requirements for Retail Sales/Rental Position:

  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Perform well in a fast-paced, team environment
  • General knowledge of basic bike mechanics preferred
  • Willingness to learn on the job
